In Seattle, Washington, Advantage Reline executed a groundbreaking project rehabilitating an 1,800-foot section of 12-inch high-pressure pipeline—marking the first high-pressure Primus Line installation of its kind in the United States. The 50-year-old pipeline had developed multiple leaks at the joints and ran beneath active railroad tracks, creating a complex rehabilitation scenario where traditional replacement methods and directional drilling were deemed too costly and disruptive.

Advantage Reline crews strategically positioned access pits while maintaining adjacent pedestrian walkways, then completed pipeline cleaning, inspection, and debris removal in just two days. The team navigated several challenging obstacles including a 90-degree turn, multiple 45- and 22-degree curves, and an existing gate valve—all without disturbing the critical railroad infrastructure above the pipeline.

The completed rehabilitation system was rated for an impressive 250psi PSI, delivering a robust, long-lasting solution to a complex infrastructure challenge. This pioneering project not only established Advantage Reline as a leader in high-pressure applications using Primus Line® technology in the U.S., butU.S. but also demonstrated their expertise in overcoming major engineering challenges while preserving critical transportation infrastructure.
