In Ladera Ranch, California, Advantage Reline rehabilitated a 200-foot section of the pressurized pipeline, experiencing active leaks and structural degradation. The existing 10-inch pipeline presented significant technical challenges, including multiple sharp 45-degree bends and joint deflection caused by ground subsidence. The residential setting created additional complexity with a critical need to avoid disrupting yards and landscaping.

The project team implemented a specialized trenchless pipe replacement solution capable of navigating the pipeline's complex geometry. This innovative approach enabled the installation of a monolithic, non-corrosive pipe system designed for a 100-year service life while enhancing earthquake resistance and resolving subsidence-related joint deflection—all without extensive excavation that would have damaged residential properties.

The technical process involved precisely pulling the replacement pipe through the existing pipeline and its multiple bends, followed by rigorous air pressure testing to verify system integrity at the required 150psi rating. Appropriate fittings and connections completed the rehabilitation with minimal excavation and disruption. This project exemplifies how Advantage Reline's innovative trenchless rehabilitation methods can effectively overcome complex pipeline challenges while preserving community aesthetics.
